Sarah is our Lesson Manager/Office Manager and Riding Instructor. She helps out with marketing, organizing events, and anything else she can help out with at the barn. She teaches beginner-advanced students in jumping and eventing.
She has been riding and competing for over 15 years now. She competed in mostly eventing and CT in her younger years, along with other riding activities including hunter paces. Sarah was part of the Shamrock Hounds Pony Club when she was younger, and went to a few pony club rallies. She helped with Special Olympics before and therefore is comfortable working with children of all needs. Sarah grew up riding green Thoroughbreds, and have owned two of her own who were straight off the racetrack, which she retrained herself. Sarah enjoys training, ground training, dressage, jumping, and teaching children. She used to help run Equinox Riding Academy’s riding program, and was in charge of riding lessons for all ages, pony rides, parties, and other riding activities.
Sarah is a recent graduate from Kennesaw State University with two degrees, in Business Management and Accounting. Her business management major has taught her how to be able to handle groups of people successfully and how to run a business.
Sarah does not currently own any horses, having sold her previous two horses. She has retrained two off-the-track Thoroughbreds that she owned and also used to own a Quarter Horse.
She occasionally attends competitive trail rides with Teresa. Sarah and Casey put on horseback sword fighting spectacles for special events at the barn.
